​​                                                     Welcome to  Global Shared Services Unit (GSSU) - HR


Based in Copenhagen, GSSU-HR is part of UNDP's Bureau for Management Services (BMS), and is organized in 2 units: 

Benefits & Entitlements Services (BES)

BES provides HR administrative services for international staff members recruited on FTA and TA appointments (excluding JPOs), as well as General Service staff based in New York, for the following:
  • UNDP (incl. UNV, UNCDF and other affiliated agencies)
  • UNFPA
  • UNSSC
  • UNU (also handles General Service staff and National Officers worldwide)
  • UN Women
  • UNDSS 

Global Payroll Services (GPS)

GPS provides payroll and related services to more than 35.000 personnel of UNDP and UN partner agencies located in around 170 locations. The services include:
  • Payroll Administration for locally and internationally recruited appointments.
  • Functional and Technical support for Atlas HCM users
