HR Information for UNDP Personnel

 
 
Information on the different staff categories and types of contract at UNDP are described in UNDP For Beginners, recently revised with versions in English (see p. 24-25), French and Spanish also avaiable.
 
 
The contract modalities of International staff members are described in more detail on the JPO Service Centre's Career Management website, a support resource for members of the Junior Professional Officer (JPO) programme.
 
Global Shared Services Unit - HR (GSSU-HR - formerly known as SAS)is based in Copenhagen, is based in Copenhagen, and provides HR administrative services to the following groups of staff members:
  
  • International staff members recruited on Fixed Term Appointments (FTA) and Temporary Appointments (TA), including members of the JPO and SARC programmes
  • General Service staff members based in New York
 

The GSSU-HR website contains information for these groups of staff members on employment conditions, benefits and entitlements, and HR forms and documents.

 
 
Other UNDP personnel (including National Professional Staff, General Service Staff not based in New York, Consultants on Individual Contracts, Service Contract holders, UN Volunteers, and Interns) are administered by the Office in which they were recruited.
