More than 20 certified Sick Leave days
If you have more than a total of 20 Sick Leave days taken cumulatively or consecutively during a twelve-month period or calendar year it will need to be
certified by the Medical Services Division as per
ST/AI/2005/3 Amendment 1.
Therefore, please submit a
Sick Leave Certification Request completed and signed by the attending physician to Medical Services Division no later than the 20th working day following the first day of your absence. The form can be emailed to sickleave@un.org. Please copy your supervisor and Leave Monitor.
When the certification is received from Medical Services Division please forward the certification to your Supervisor and Leave Monitor.
